The savoy is just amazin! The decorations for christmas seemed like somethin outta a fairytale. Staff were super friendly and always ready to help, really seemed like luxury but also comfy and relaxed. Loved that we could order a lil christmas tree for our room and the breakfast was just insane, so much good food every morning. Perfect location to walk to all the cool sights in london too!

The Savoy is very well staffed, well trained, polite, helpful and caring for the guest. Particularly noteworthy is a waiter at breakfast in the " Winter Garden", who was really lonely top in his interest in the guest. Another pleasant event was the "afternoon tea" with a piano player in the centre of the room. The service was first class, the food too. Fascinating was also the matching of the patterns of dishes and cloth napkins, which had obviously been made to match.
Our room (luxury double to the quiet !!! inner courtyard) was filled with a humming sound during the day and in large parts of the night, which did not come from the AC, as we had first assumed, but from a metal exhaust air shaft of the entire hotel installed next to the room. There were several rooms on all floors of this area. It turned out that the closed windows did not close tightly and at the beginning, a strip of a width of approximately 1 cm was left free, after the housekeeping was applied, the obviously old windows closed a little better but still not completely tightly, the frame and the window sash did not fit properly into each other. At the departure we got a discount of 20% for one night. A lady responsible for such matters was infinitely sad about this circumstance, apologized several times in perfect form and promised an upgrade on a future visit. The latter she could do without any danger, because we will not visit the Savoy anymore. The water pressure in the toilet was so insufficient that large parts of the bowl were not flushed. Housekeeping: problem was known and could not be solved.

Staying at The Savoy was like stepping into a luxurious dream! The staff was attentive, always going the extra mile to. Our room had a cozy armchair perfect for curling up with a book, and the breakfast spread was good, with freshly baked pastries and perfectly cooked eggs.
The restaurant was quite busy at times, leading to a longer wait for tables.

Perfect Family Getaway at a Grand Place
The Christmas decorations were like stepping into a movie, pure magic everywhere. From the little Christmas tree in our room to the treats they left for us.
It wasn't inexpensive, but honestly for what we got, it was acceptable.
